About Dr. Maurer Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Maurer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who graduated with a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. She is providing individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, skills workshops, and psychological testing as available.
Dr. Maurer has been in the mental health field for 17 years and has experience working in hospital, in-home, community, private practice, and college settings with diverse populations in all stages of development.
She completed her internship at the University of Seattle in Washington State, where she worked with adult students.
Dr. Maurer is well versed in providing therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential-Humanistic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She is an expert at providing psychoeducation in the form of groups to assist with wellness in life.
